I have flown all over in the last ~16 months that I have had my P3P. Never had a real issue at any TSA or other border security and customs locations. A few people ask me to take it out of my backpack and turn it on ("I just want to see it have flashing lights and stuff" was the latest one last...
I know you bought the bag so you wouldn't have to, but, take the props off? Maybe just those 2? I rarely transport mine with the props on, just to keep them perfect for as long as I can.

I just got home from Iceland and haven't flown yet with app v3.0.0 (which I just opened and see it looks different). However, while I was in Greenland I was easily able to fly out to 3-4 kms off the coast and around icebergs without issue. After iOS 10 upgrade, and heading to Iceland, I had...
I've had this happen a few times. Same "critically low voltage" message and attempt to land. Throttle up and you can make it back home. Seems to happen when I take off with a battery that's below a certain charge level/percent. And happens soon within taking off. I've never actually noticed if...
Yah, my P3P does not fly straight - it always flys at a bit of an angle. I've tried so many things to fix it. I just live with it. I'd love to do those pan back shots of somethings when reversing the forward flight doesn't work as well. Good luck with your claim.

I have been in Greenland for 2 weeks - leaving for Iceland tomorrow. I tried aurora video and photos with my P3P and just couldn't get anything good. But with a Canon 5D mkIII I was able to take great stuff. Beautiful timelapses even. I have been mostly shooting 8 sec frames at 1600 ISO. Any...
Now I remember why I stopped posting in these forums. Some people are too quick to turn a discussion personal and start taking jabs to make themselves feel better.

There are far worse things than that. Haha As it says, flip to Atti and the compass error doesn't matter. And I don't believe luck has anything to do with a good experience with these. Having some knowledge and skill to actually fly them is much more important.
I'm in Greenland right now and I have been flying through a lot of holes in icebergs, sea arches and caves. Sometimes 2-3 feet over the ocean. No issues at all. The wide field of view makes objects appear closer than they are.

Flying at home in western Canada, I get them once in a while, but mostly flying in the mountains. I've been in Greenland for 2 weeks and get them all the time (i.e. Every few seconds depending on where I am). Did a compass calibration before my first flight here and it was crappy. Did a couple...
Yah, I can see an insurance company screwing people over. Happens all the time. They look for any way to not have to pay out. My dad passed away last year from a brain tumor - 3 months from the day he was diagnosed. The life insurance company went through all of his previous health records...
