Make sure your controller is recalibrated and you compass is calibrated with no interference... sometimes there can be a lot of frequencies floating around a city like that... perhaps you need a better antenna for your remote...

The p4 does well in even down to 14 degrees F but I would recommend keeping your batteries warm. As I have not done more than 5 cold weather flights... that being said, I had no problems but maybe 5 min less flight time.
