I'very only been flying my phantom since about July of 2015 and I've had some difficulties with it but I'm nowhere near giving up flying mine. I enjoy it too much & I'm willing to put up with the problems that come with it. It's just part of life!

I guess it's because I've heard that a lot of people don't like the idea of drones flying around because of what they've heard about them. I enjoy them as a hobby, but maybe someday I may want to fly one for commercial purposes.

Has anyone encountered any problems with legalities in flying your drones, especially in light of the fact that flying drones falls into a legal gray area?

I have the Phantom 1 model and I tried getting on the dji firmware website to update my drone so that it would have IOC capability, but had no luck. Does anyone know if my model of drone is or is not capable of utilizing this firmware. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I'm planning on putting a gopro on the gimbal but I won't be using wifi. I've done some research on you tube & it turns out that you have to do some rewiring in order for you to control the gimbal from the transmitter, at least on my phantom. I'd also have to buy a plug...
