Re: Help... like some advice, should I get a different drone I dont think switching from a dji phantom to a walkera would be a step up. From my experience walkera quads are cheaply built and aimed at a lower end of the market. You probably wouldn't hear of walkera fly aways is they tend to have...

They better not be. With all the talk around waypoints for the phantom vision there'd be a riot if they pulled out now

I don't know alot about the amplifiers i am using but i have run the 2.4ghz amplifiers straight off the repeater (no attentuator) without any issues and as for the 5.8ghz amplifier i set the transmitter to ce mode just to be safe

I had the same issue. It didn't tip over but it did drift into things if I didn't stop it. What i ended up doing is fiddling with the gain settings and that seemed to have fixed it. But the new software does take a while to actually shut off the props but I'd rather that than the silly bouncing...

I'll let someone else do the maths but as far as i know with the current solar technology the weight of the solar cell requires more power to lift than it produces so you'll only reduce flight time

I'll test it tomorrow properly but just fiddling with it inside i was able to run 640x480 @30fps without any issues and video seems alot more responsive than before. Looks very promising

Yep. Lowering the preview quality means less data has to be sent to the phone so it should be faster and give you longer range

Can you post pictures of all the different colours available. I find it harder to judge colours just by name :)

Aww come on. It happens all the time. When i bought my laptop i wanted the best model i could get and before it even arrived at my door they released an updated version. Its not like they are selling the P2V+ at the same price as the original P2V, there is a $200 price difference and you can get...
