I think it's extraordinaire . . . And then some.
Being far-out is obviously where lt's at! Ateast for some of the brave adventurer's piloting their Phantom 3 way out there in these distances. ;-)

I get acid reflux beyond a certain distance. And then turn it back around and head for home. Remembering when I finally turned Maximum Distance off, it was like switching off Beginner Mode for the first time.
So sailing out past your previous distance is always exciting.

I'm impressed too. I reported his post inappropriate. Flaming is just annoying.

Well come on in, to the party, guitar man... ;-)

Enjoy the Phantom and your time spent on the forum..

Happy landing.

Yes it is very exciting to go further than you've been before!

I love it!

Wtg man really pushing the envelope........ looks like you had a few signal errors on the way back.
I observe similar signal errors on mine far better signal when the phantom is facing away from you.

it seems to me that when i go far out, let's say 13,000 feet and i'll get a good signal the whole way and then turn around to come home and that's when i seem to start getting poor signal and even total loss of signal!

i wonder if i came back home facing away would i get a better signal?

i will try it on my next long distance flight.

i love my Phantom!
