See if anyone can help me. When I turn on p3p the camera indicator light does not come on. The camera does its dance then goes limp. When I first got it about a week ago only did a few times.I updated to lastest firmware and updated rc seems to be worst now.I rolled back to 1.8 firmware and still does it. Also reconnected the gray wires to gimble.

Try a different SD card first.
It might not be the cause in your situation but sometimes that's all it takes to fix that.

I tried a couple sd cards and the one that came with it. I think its a hardware problem but I figured I would see what people thought here. Thanks for the suggestion.

Blue sd ? Don't think I have a blue one. I know it acts the same with sd in or out. Leave it out it worked correctly a few times then did the same thing some other times. I think it should work with sd card out.

if the gimbal does the initial dance and stays leveled then after about 15 seconds just drops down it means either 3rd party cable (black thin gimbal cable), or the cable is damaged.
has the cable been replaced at some point?

It was a joke... Sorry

Adding some questions please.
Just to help get a better mental picture, does all other aspects appear normal?
As an example, when you have all three items on, (tablet or phone, RC, and AC) does the go app reflect a warmup and then ready status, aka GPS ready, home point set, etc. Also, I assume you do not have the AC attached to a device, i.e. PC, tablet or phone.
If all theses conditions are as I described "normal", have you tried to review the log on the SD card? This may give some good data.

Yes everything is normal I could also fly it. Has black screen that says dji. Power on device and the camera indicator light does not come on. The gimble does its dance for a few seconds and then goes limp and points down. At first it only did it here and there now almost every time. One it was working correctly then I was flying about 15' from me then video went to black screen again.

I had a problem like this once, although I am not sure about the light. When it was limp I could press on the ribbon cable and it would work again for a while. Eventually I rebuilt it, but I my case I had a bent arm too. If it was already said it, sorry, but have you tried disconnecting the cables from the top and reseat them? Sounds very much like a cable issue.

Yeah I tried reconnecting the gimble cables. I didnt do ribbon cables I pushed to make sure they was seated. In the settings it says the gimbal is connected but it says 0mb for sd card when this problem is happening.

I've only had the drone about a week and flown maybe three times no crash or hard landing. It did it a couple of times before I flew it. Going to call dji this evening was just hoping we could figure it out.

Do you have any filters in the lens?
They may be too heavy. I had that issue, recalibrate to no avail. Polarizer was too heavy. I'll find previous post and put it in here.
