Hi all,

Just purchased an 8 inch Galaxy Tab S2 to use with my P3A. I know it has GPS but here's my question. In order for DJI Go to use the tablet's GPS (when needed) must I have my Android location settings set to 'GPS and Wifi' or does DJI Go access the GPS directly? Reason I ask is that leaving GPS on all the time incurs a significant battery life hit

Thanks,

You can leave wifi off, the GPS needs to stay on. It does not use that much battery. You will not notice a difference.

Mario what is the model number of the S2 you purchased? A T710 or T713?
I'm trying to determine if people with a T713 are having issues with the DJI GO app.

TIA

It's the T713 and yes it has issues with DJI Go. The one and only way to get it to connect to the camera is, while connected to the RC, power it off then back on. I'm returning it to get a T710 which apparently works fine.

Can confirm T710 on 6.0.1 MM has absolutely no problems running dji go or litchi

Thanks Guys.
That's exactly what I had to do with the T713 myself ! Brought it back to the store to replace it and inadvertently got a T710 instead and as CANEKiTA stated it works just fine!

Incidentally, I also have a T813 (the 9.7") and it too has the issue. There's clearly some compatibility issue with the 2016 revision Galaxy Tab S2 models and DJI Go
